This position provides clerical support to the loan operations function of the bank. This position requires handling transactions and assignments in the loan operations area of the bank.
Below is a job description for the Credit Assistant/Clerk position that is available.
High School Education or equivalent preferred.
Customer Service skills.
Ability to perform computer entry/navigation, as well as use spreadsheet and word processing
Good knowledge of lending products and procedures.
Ability to accurately record and maintain loan documentation or ability to learn.
Essential Job Functions:
Keying loans into the system.
Reviewing reports on input and verifying that information was keyed correctly.
Preparing releases for paid off loans.
Presenting and logging legal documents presented to the County Recorder, Auditor and Treasurer.
Processes loan payments and advances.
Payoff letter requests.
Balances various accounts.
Filing of mortgages, ucc's, ucc continuations and liens.
Keying daily work from all the branch offices, including advances new and renewed notes and all
Inputting all new loans for the day
Maintaining construction inspection spreadsheet.
Opening of all insurance that has been received in the mail checked with the system for coverage
on commercial files
Flood insurance monitored and scanned for proper flood zones, coverage and cancellation dates.
Scanning of all financial information along with tax returns for commercial files.
Providing back up for other loan support positions and related duties as assigned.
