What You Will Do
- Develops and administers various human resource plans for all company personnel.
- Plans, organizes, and controls all activities of the Human Resource department. Participates in developing department goals, objectives, plans and systems.
- Provides leadership, direction, training, and guidance to associates to include staff, and personnel up and down the organizational hierarchy.
- Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; training and development.
o Manages the execution of the payroll function.
o Oversees annual performance evaluation processes.
o Periodically evaluates market pay rates for various job categories to ensure
competitiveness.
- Conducts or assists in recruitment efforts for exempt and non-exempt personnel, students, and temporary employees; conducts new-employee orientations; monitors career-pathing program, employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing; writes and places advertisements.
- Establishes and maintains department records/reports. Participates in administrative staff and safety meetings, and attends other meetings as directed.
- Promotes positive employee relations, and guides, coaches, and trains plant leaders in conducting Performance Evaluations of their subordinates for both positive and negative reinforcement behavior modifications.

Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to senior management.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business preferred.
- Ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resources, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
