What You Will Do

  • Develops and administers various human resource plans for all company personnel.
  • Plans, organizes, and controls all activities of the Human Resource department. Participates in developing department goals, objectives, plans and systems.
  • Provides leadership, direction, training, and guidance to associates to include staff, and personnel up and down the organizational hierarchy.
  • Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; training and development.
                          o Manages the execution of the payroll function.
                          o Oversees annual performance evaluation processes.
                          o Periodically evaluates market pay rates for various job categories to ensure           
                             competitiveness.
  • Conducts or assists in recruitment efforts for exempt and non-exempt personnel, students, and temporary employees; conducts new-employee orientations; monitors career-pathing program, employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing; writes and places advertisements.
  • Establishes and maintains department records/reports. Participates in administrative staff and safety meetings, and attends other meetings as directed.
  • Promotes positive employee relations, and guides, coaches, and trains plant leaders in conducting Performance Evaluations of their subordinates for both positive and negative reinforcement behavior modifications.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to senior management.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business preferred.
  • Ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resources, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
