Technical Sales Engineer
 
SUMMARY:
This opportunity is with a well-established distributor of filtration products. In this direct sales role, you will be promoting and distributing specialized filtration premium industrial products for fluid and air applications.

This position will identify customer needs and solutions to their problems being proactive in providing them with creative solutions to which improve performance & cost savings. You will also be responsible for reviewing specifications, quoting prices and credit terms. In addition to preparing sales contracts for orders obtained and working closely with our Inside Sales Team in submitting orders for processing

EDUCATION:
  • Prefer Bachelor's Degree 
 EXPERIENCE PROFILE:  
  • Must have some industrial supply, customer service / inside sales experience.
    • Three (3) to Seven (7) years range Preferred.
  • Prefer Background in serving the Manufacturing Sector with:
    • Fluid Filtration / Power, HVAC, Hose Fittings or O-Rings
    • Understanding of: 3M, Filtration Group, Parker, Purolator, Grainger, Ferguson, HD Supply, etc
  • Compensation:  
    • DOE =>> Base + Current Customer Base Bonus + Higher % Bonus for New Customers Brought In
  • Location:
    • Detroit Metro / East Side of Michigan 
      • Remote + Hybrid
