Position Summary: The Project Finance & Investment Director is responsible for overseeing the organization's financial modeling and strategy development, risk assessment, and reporting to support business growth and profitability. This role will also be responsible for supporting the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical processes of the organization. This role reports to the CFO or designee and involves working closely with various departments to provide insightful financial analysis and strategic recommendations to senior management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Budgeting and forecasting
Complex financial analysis and planning
Regularly review and update forecasts based on actual performance and changes in business conditions
Analyze historical financial data and industry trends to create accurate projections
Provide insightful commentary on financial results and variances against budgets/forecasts
Assist in developing financial models to support decision-making processes
Work closely with senior management to align financial strategies with overall business objectives
Analyze and assess the financial impact of various business scenarios
Develop and maintain management dashboards to facilitate data-driven decision-making
Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial information presented to management
Develop and implement financial strategies to support project goals and objectives
Oversee the creation and management of project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial plans
Identify and secure funding from various sources, including equity, debt, and other financial instruments
Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks associated with projects
Monitor and manage the financial performance of projects, ensuring adherence to budgets and financial plans
Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and analysis to senior management and stakeholders

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (Master’s degree/MBA or CPA preferred)
Demonstrated experience in complex financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and project financing
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software/tools
Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
