We are seeking a qualified Assistant Controller to join our client's growing team in Tulsa. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline, preferably accounting, or at least 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, and financial reporting.

Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, reporting findings to leadership
Monitor cash flow and support purchasing and accounts payable functions
Oversee RFP processes and assist with capital budget development
Support board and committee reporting needs
Serve as a backup to the CFO for audits, budgeting, and financial analysis
Collaborate with program directors on housing operations and compliance
Manage and evaluate staff performance
Key Skills and Knowledge:
Deep understanding of nonprofit accounting, compliance, and financial reporting
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in financial systems including QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
Effective leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in both office and remote settings
Self-motivated with strong initiative
