Industrial Engineer

Local privately held manufacturer has an immediate need due to business grow. The business serves customers in many industrial sectors via manufacture of engineered to order capital equipment.

Reports to the Director of Manufacturing to support Welding Team to develop Standard Work baseline times for all process of all products with an initial focus on bottleneck processes.
- Prior time study data acquisition, compilation and presentation strongly preferred.
Ability to drive input to overall Value Stream Mapping / Process Flow Improvement activities by Manufacturing team.

PROFILE

Strong understanding of Value Stream Mapping, Lean Flow Strategies, Standard Work, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Manufacturing Costs Systems and utilizing data acquisition (time studies, etc) to support Manufacturing team.
Prior detailed industrial welding process experience or deep knowledge within a manufacturer of diverse engr to order industrial products.
Ability to communicate strategy / information to all levels of the team.
Must have strong data acquisition, organization and presentation skills.
Prefer BS Industrial / Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years overall experience.
