We are recruiting for a client with an opportunity as Controller for a fast-growing manufacturing and distribution company headquartered in Tulsa
Job Description: You will work with the CEO and the executive team to define and lead the execution of short-term and long-term goals. You will help to drive the growth of the business through leadership and strategic planning. You will be responsible for the financial operations of the organization and for building and maintaining third party relationships with banks, auditors and regulatory agencies.
Job duties will include hand-on work in and management of all aspects of accounting (GL, AP, AR, payroll, cost accounting), treasury and cash management, audit/reporting, budgets/controls, and contract negotiation. In addition, you will be managing all monthly closing activities, including the preparation of GAAP-based and management financial reports along with financial analytics in support of business initiatives.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA highly desirable, MBA preferred
• 5+ years manufacturing and distribution industry experience
• Experience with implementation of integrated software systems, dashboards and internal controls
• Excellent leadership skills in creating analytical tools, as well as key ratios and metrics
• Excellent knowledge of GAAP, audit and tax filing, payroll, AP and AR functions, including the management of the billings and collection team
Target base $110 - 130K
