Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
The Financial Accountant supports the accounting function by maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with month-end and year-end close activities, and providing financial analysis to support business decisions. This role works closely with the Controller and accounting team to ensure accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance with accounting standards.
Collect, organize, and maintain financial data including revenues, expenses, and liabilities.
Develop and maintain spreadsheets and databases used to track financial activity.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support management decision-making.
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
Review financial documents and transactions for accuracy and completeness.
Perform account reconciliations including balance sheet, bank, and intercompany accounts.
Research and resolve discrepancies through review of account activity and supporting documentation.
Prepare financial reports and analysis to support operational and strategic decisions.
Respond to financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant data.
Assist in developing and improving financial reporting tools and models.
Maintain KPI reports used to monitor organizational performance.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and financial regulations.
Support internal and external audit processes and documentation requests.
Provide guidance on accounting questions by applying established accounting principles.
Assist with payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable processes when needed.
Perform other accounting or financial duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
Experience in corporate or manufacturing accounting environments preferred.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
