Great Controller opportunity open in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Manages planning and organization procedures and directs personnel to assure financial data is accurately recorded, reported and projected, and that internal controls are being followed to safeguard the Company’s assets.

Summary of essential job functions
  • Oversee the financial operations of branch facilities to ensure compliance with control systems, transaction processing operations & policies/procedures
  • Recommend benchmarks against which to measure branch performance
  • Review/prepare management reports which identify issues that result in variances from budget
  •  Review/prepare operational & capital budgets by collecting, analyzing and consolidating data.  Forecasting trends and recommending alternatives in order to maximize profits
  • Monitor cost of doing business by analyzing short & long term impact of investments to control costs
  • Calculate & prepare internal rates of return justification for all CAPEX expenditures
  • Provide financial analysis as needed to support management decisions with regard to pricing decisions and contract negotiations
  • Review general ledger entries & financial statements by analyzing transactions & detail accounts to assure financial data is accurately reported to corporate office
  • Maintain state-of-the-art knowledge of market conditions, technology, products, services, etc. by maximizing available resources, networking with outsiders, participating in trade association activities, etc. to assure the Company’s competitive edge & to provide customers with expert & professional service
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned

Minimum requirements
  • Bachelor’s and/or Masters Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting
  • CPA is preferred but not required
  • 5+ years related experience – manufacturing and cost experience required
  • Supervisory experience
  • Must have strong analytical & problem solving skills
  • Must possess excellent oral communication, delegation, & management skills
  • Conscientious about timeliness of assignments and quality of work product
