Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

This position oversees the preparation and review of the financial results of the company on a consolidated basis, maintaining global reporting consistency and participating in the establishment and monitoring of accounting policies and processes.

 
Responsibilities:
  • Participates in the timely preparation and review of the monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements 
  • Contributes to the monthly consolidation of subsidiary financial data, including the reconciliation and elimination of global intercompany balances,
  • Maintains the consistent format of global financial reports,
  • Participates in the execution of the annual global audit,
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement in the operating and financial results,
  • Continues to learn and maintain knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS and related technical literature
  • Coordinates with IT to ensure the integrity and completeness of financial data within the reporting software,
  • Participates in review and testing of periodic software changes and updates with IT.
  • Participates in the establishment and maintenance of corporate accounting policies and processes,
  • Ensures compliance with corporate policies and processes and local legal requirements.
  • Participates in special projects, such as internal audits, as the need arises.
  • Perform ad hoc requests as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent with a minimum of two years experience in corporate accounting, financial reporting or management position.
  • Strong technical accounting skills,
  • Ability to understand overall business operations and perform analytical reviews,
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team and with all levels of employees,
  •  Proficient in the use of reporting and consolidation software packages and Microsoft Office Suite ( including advanced spreadsheet application)
  • Microsoft Dynamics AX experience is preferred
