This position will work with sales, suppliers, shop, and accounting group to evaluate inventory levels, purchasing plans, and supply chain strategies to support customers. This position will report to the Vice President.
Key duties will include:
  • Utilizing internal software to analyze inventory levels.
  • Develop and present to management a purchasing schedule to support the sales team forecast.
  • Purchase materials for inventory and job specific parts.
  • Work with vendors and suppliers to negotiate rates, manage inventory, delivery terms, and transportation costs
  • Implement processes to improve efficiencies in supply chain
  • Work with accounting group to develop budgets.
  • Produce metrics and reports to analyze the performance of the supply chain.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or similar degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years supply chain, logistics, purchasing, or similar experience.
  • Strong time management, communication, and problem solving skills.
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently analyze data.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and ERP Software.
